Before and After

A complete knock down and rebuild project. The old 1950s house was demolished to make way for a new build that was designed to blend into its leafy environment and the surrounding giant fig trees.

The new build architecturally designed by Mary Ellen architects, was constructed from hardwood timber, raw concrete and sandstone, The interiors carried through the organic feel with recycled tallow wood floorboards and oversized cedar doors. The kitchen with it’s 4 metre Calacatta marble benchtop and curved staircase formed the heart of the home. Carrara marble mosaic and vanity tops together with Brazillian black slate tiles were used in the bathrooms.
